What's new?
Last year I had the opportunity to reside in Istanbul as a fellow of the Cultural Academy Tarabya and could explore the microtonal echos of Byzantine chant – my current composition Codex Laurus for eight singers is inspired by this encounter. I have also recently completed a clarinet concerto for Thorsten Johanns and the WDR Orchestra, the premiere of which is scheduled for the 2027/28 season in the Philharmonie Cologne.

What happens besides?
- I direct the festival Schwelbrand – loud and energetic music events in Berlin and beyond.
- A clarinet concerto for Thorsten Johanns & WDR orchestra is scheduled for 2026/27
- New works with Schola Heidelberg and Schwelbrandorchester are in the planning stages.
